We would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to our specialist IT Recycling service – Blue Bin Recycling. Since our inception, Kavanagh Recycling and Recovery Limited has built up a strong reputation as one of Ireland’s leading players in the computer recycling, electronic recycling, WEEE recycling, IT disposal and data destruction fields. From our offices in Tallaght we have worked closely with businesses, offices, shops, government agencies and many more – collecting your IT and office equipment, IT asset management, secure refurbishment, remarketing, software asset management auditing and secure certified data destruction. Now, as part of an expanded service we can provide businesses with either 660 litre or 220 litre blue bins for a “one-off collection” service or as part of an “ongoing store and collect” service.
About the Blue Bin Service
Kavanagh Recycling and Recovery can offer either 660 litre or 220 litre recycling bins for the on-site collection of IT waste. The bins can be used for gathering IT waste from large sites to be brought back to a central point for collection. We accept all types of IT waste including ink toner cartridges. We do not empty the bins on site. Instead, they are replaced and returned to our secure facility where they are emptied and processed.
If there are any data bearing items (hard drives/tapes) we can carry out certified data destruction. We will always let the customer know in advance and request authorisation prior to commencement of data destruction.
We currently offer two Blue Bin services
Kavanagh Recycling and Recovery can offer either 660 litre or 220 litre recycling bins for the on-site collection of IT waste. - Monthly Collection
With this service, we deliver either a 660 litre or a 220 litre bin to your premises on a monthly basis. This is collected (replaced by an empty bin) and returned to our premises where it is emptied and processed. This service is subject to a rental charge and a collection charge (for premises outside Dublin), or a rental charge only (for premises in the Greater Dublin Area).
- Once Off Collection
With this service, we deliver either a 660 litre or 220 litre bin to your premises on a once-off ad-hoc basis. This is collected when requested within a 2 week period and returned to our premises where it is emptied and processed. This service is subject to a drop charge and a collection charge (for premises outside Dublin), or a drop charge only (for premises in the Greater Dublin Area).
Blue Bin Content
Our Blue Bin service is for all your IT recycling needs only. This includes desktop computers (PCs, Macs, etc); laptop computers; tablet computers; printers; ink cartridges & toners; hard drives. Just dispose of these items in the blue bin and let us do the rest!
Unfortunately we cannot accept general waste and other non-IT waste such as paper, timber, household waste, compostible waste, etc.
